CAA is actively promoting safety between vehicles and bicycles. When You Are Driving
Remember to check carefully for cyclists approaching from behind before opening your vehicle door, or changing lanes in traffic. Place our Watch For Bikes sticker in the corner of your outside rearview mirror as a reminder. To get your FREE sticker you can:
When You Are Cycling
As a general rule, ride about one metre (approx. 3 feet) away from the curb or parked vehicles in an urban environment. This makes it easier to avoid potholes, debris, vehicle doors and makes you more visible to the people around you. Always wear appropriate safety gear and ride with traffic.
| Ultimate Mix Challenge 2011 |
CAA Manitoba’s Ultimate Mix Challenge is an annual event held in Winnipeg. Our annual Ultimate Mix Challenge promotes responsible partying to high school students by inviting them to form teams, and create an original non–alcoholic drink and an accompanying slogan highlighting the dangers of drinking and driving.
