CAA Manitoba dispatchers and our fleet of service vehicles are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

If you require ERS, help is just a phone call away. In Winnipeg, call 262-6111. Outside Winnipeg, call our toll-free number 1-800-222-4357 accessible throughout Manitoba, Canada and the United States. Or call the toll-free cellular number *222. These numbers are listed on the back of your CAA Manitoba membership card.

To speed up service, please have the following information ready:

  1. Your CAA membership number
  2. Your name and address
  3. The exact location of the disabled vehicle
  4. The vehicle's make, year, colour and license number
  5. The type of problem you are experiencing
  6. Phone number where you can be contacted
  7. Tow destination

You must remain at or near the vehicle to receive service. (CAA will accommodate in extenuating circumstances.) If your vehicle is started before the service truck arrives, please call and cancel your request so that the driver does not spend additional time looking for you, to the possible detriment of a fellow member.

Please have your membership card and driver's licence ready to show the driver upon arrival. The driver requires these items to ensure we are providing service to a valid CAA member.

Always call CAA first to ensure the nearest available service vehicle is dispatched for assistance. Do not call a local garage or towing company unless CAA service is unavailable.

However, before calling CAA, please make arrangements with a repair facility to ensure your vehicle will be accepted for repairs. CAA can assist you by referring you to one of more than 110 AARS facilities.

Service Eligibility
All members, including each Associate, receive up to four ERS calls per membership year. Members whose requirements exceed four calls per year will be required to pay for service at the CAA club rate, often below commercial rates.

If you have Plus RV and require towing service for both the vehicle and the trailer, this will be considered two calls.

New CAA Plus members have a seven-day waiting period to obtain free towing service in excess of 5 km or locksmith services in excess of $50. Service will be rendered immediately in all other circumstances.
