Mennonite Heritage Village
Receive a 2 for 1 admission to The Mennonite Heritage Village! The village is located in Steinbach Manitoba, about a 1 hr drive from the Mint East on Hwy #1, and brings to life the Mennonite way of life from the 16th century to present day. Set on a forty acre (17 hectare) site, the village spreads out from a village street, in a pattern reminiscent of Mennonite villages found throughout Southern Manitoba at the turn of the century. The north side of the street illustrates the early settlement buildings while the south side shows the gradual shift to various business enterprises.

Be sure to stop by the Village Centre, open year-around, which houses a permanent gallery that tells the Mennonite story from the 16th century to the present. The temporary gallery hosts changing exhibits.
