Program Terms and Conditions
The Show Your Card & Save Program, and the CAA Dollar Savings accumulated under the program, are operated by the individually owned and operated Canadian Automobile Association Clubs (CAA). The terms and conditions outlined below apply to the Show Your Card & Save Program and the CAA Dollars Savings Program at CAA Manitoba.
Participation in the Program
As a valid CAA Manitoba member in good standing, you're automatically eligible to collect CAA Dollars at the advertised participating program merchants and to redeem the CAA Dollars accumulated in your CAA Manitoba account.
CAA Members visiting CAA Manitoba are able to present their CAA membership card and to accumulate CAA dollars at program participants in Manitoba. The CAA Dollars accumulated at participating merchants located in Manitoba will then be transferred from CAA Manitoba to the appropriate club for the region of Canada where the CAA card was issued and where redemption will occur. Likewise, CAA Manitoba members can present their CAA Manitoba membership card at program participants in other provinces of Canada to accumulate CAA Dollars.
Accumulation
CAA Dollars are accumulated each time you present your CAA Manitoba membership card at any one of the advertised program participants. It is the responsibility of the CAA Manitoba member to identify themselves as a member to the companies who participate in the program by presenting their valid CAA Manitoba membership card to obtain the CAA Manitoba benefit. Currently, program participants that enable you to accumulate CAA Dollars include the companies listed below under Participants. Please note that the participating companies and offers may change without notice. The CAA Dollars accumulated at participating companies will be stored in the CAA Manitoba primary member's account in CAA Manitoba's membership system. GST on your purchases is included in the total CAA Dollars stored in your membership account. For each $1.00 accumulated in the membership account, the value at time of redemption will equal $1.00.
CAA Manitoba may cancel recorded CAA Dollars if the issuing participating company advises CAA Manitoba to cancel the CAA Dollars (example: because you returned products for which the CAA Dollars were issued). CAA Manitoba may refuse to record or honour CAA Dollars in your account, or if already recorded, we may cancel them, if we cannot confirm that they were properly issued or obtained. Neither CAA Manitoba nor any participating company is responsible for any offer of CAA Dollars, which is no longer in effect.
Participants
Husky Energy: Upon presentation of your CAA Manitoba membership card, participating Husky and Mohawk retail locations will provide CAA members with CAA Dollars toward your membership account equal to 2% of your total purchases, excluding tobacco and lottery. If you spend $100.00 or more during any given month, you'll earn 3% for those purchases over $100.00 (excluding tobacco and lottery). Purchases made with Husky/Mohawk commercial cards, in-station accounts, fleet cards, vehicle leasing cards, bulk accounts, or Husky Route Commander cards do not qualify for CAA Dollars. CAA Dollars will not be credited for the GST amount on single transactions totaling over $1000.00. Your CAA Manitoba membership card must be presented at the time of purchase to receive CAA Dollars. If, at time of purchase, your membership card cannot be swiped through the retailer's point of purchase system because of electronic or other failure, your purchase receipt can be presented at the retailer or any CAA Manitoba location within 30 days of purchase and the CAA Dollars will be credited to your CAA Manitoba membership account.

To be eligible to earn CAA Dollars you must be a CAA Manitoba MBNA Canada Customer with an open Account in good standing with the issuing bank, MBNA Canada Bank. CAA Dollars are earned only after appearing on your account's monthly billing statement. Redemption
CAA Dollars can be used at CAA Manitoba for CAA Manitoba products and services excluding travelers cheques, foreign currency and monthly insurance premiums. A minimum amount of CAA Dollars is not required for redemption towards your next CAA membership renewal fee or to obtain products and services available through CAA Manitoba. The value at time of redemption of each CAA Dollar is equal to one Canadian Dollar, however CAA Dollars must be redeemed for products and services available through CAA Manitoba- no cash given.
CAA Dollars will automatically be applied to the balance owing annually for your CAA Manitoba membership renewal fee, unless you indicate otherwise. CAA Dollars redeemed for the annual membership renewal fee and CAA Dollars remaining in your account will be represented on the annual renewal statement that you receive from CAA Manitoba. If you believe that the balance showing as ÒCAA DollarsÓ on your annual CAA Manitoba membership renewal statement is incorrect, you must notify CAA Manitoba within 60 days of the renewal date or the amount shown will be deemed correct, except for any CAA Dollars that may have been applied to your account in error. CAA Dollars can be accumulated and carried over from one renewal year into the next without redemption being required. CAA Dollars have no cash, monetary or other value and cannot be converted into any currency.
To inquire about the balance of CAA Dollars in your membership account, visit one of CAA Manitoba's Service Centres or call 262-6166. CAA Dollars can be redeemed electronically at point of purchase in CAA Manitoba's Member Services area for membership renewal fees, the purchase of new memberships or for products available through CAA Manitoba's Service Centres which include but are not limited items such as merchandise, luggage, gift certificates, miscellaneous car and travel supplies. CAA Manitoba assumes no responsibility for any loss, damages, injuries or personal harm or expense relating to any CAA Manitoba product or service for which you choose to redeem your CAA Dollars.
As a primary CAA Manitoba member, you may purchase CAA Manitoba Associate membership cards for other family members in your household. The Associate member will then be eligible to receive all CAA Manitoba products and services, including the accumulation of CAA Dollars which will be stored in the CAA Manitoba Primary member's account. For security reasons, only you as the CAA Manitoba Primary Member, or your CAA Manitoba Associate member(s) may redeem the CAA Dollars recorded in the Primary CAA Manitoba membership account.
In the event that you, as a Primary CAA Manitoba member do not renew your CAA membership by your yearly renewal date, you will only be entitled to redeem CAA Dollars accumulated on your membership account up to the date of your renewal and redemption or transfer of such must occur within three months of your renewal date or accumulated CAA Dollars are forfeited. If your lapsed CAA Manitoba membership is reinstated within three months, you will be entitled to redeem CAA Dollars accumulated on your membership account. If you choose to purchase a new membership instead of reinstating your original membership, these dollars are forfeited.
The transfer of CAA Dollars to another CAA club will occur following three months of notification of becoming another club member, unless redeemed for CAA Manitoba products or services. In case of divorce/relationship breakdown, and with CAA Manitoba's authorization, the Primary CAA Manitoba member may release accumulated CAA Dollars in their CAA Manitoba membership account to an Associate cardholder on their account or to another Primary cardholder. The Primary CAA Manitoba member, in whose membership account the CAA Dollars reside, will bear ownership of the CAA Dollars even if the CAA Dollars were accumulated on the Associate card(s). In the case of death, the CAA Dollars accumulated under a primary CAA Manitoba membership can be transferred to a CAA membership belonging to a family member of the deceased. In the event that a family member of the deceased does not have a primary CAA membership, a portion of the CAA Dollars in the deceased CAA member's account can be used to set up a new Primary membership for a person named by the executor of the estate and any remaining CAA Dollars in the deceased CAA member's account would be deposited into this new membership account or can be credited to an associate.
