If your vehicle is out of operation for more than 24 hours due to a collision when you're more than 160 km from home and delays your trip, CAA will help by reimbursing you for expenses related to meals, accommodations or alternative transportation for up to the first 72 hours after the accident. Basic members may be reimbursed up to $300; Plus members up to $600.

Claims must be submitted within 60 days, with original expense receipts and a copy of the police report describing the collision. Only one claim per vehicle per incident.
