Manitoba is our home and we are proud to be here. As part of our continuing commitment to engage with our 203,000 Members in Manitoba, we host and participate in a number of events throughout the province. These include events on road safety, seniors mobility, automotive care, cycling, infrastructure plus many more.

CAA Manitoba is proud to be a part of our community. We host many of our own events, like ladies night at the garage, and support community events like Riverview Health Centre’s Cycle on Life bike event.

April

Car Seat Information Session
Thursday, April 26 at 7 – 8 pm (Doors at 6:30 pm)
Windsor Park Library - 1195 Archibald St.

Travel confidently with kids. Learn the basics of baby to booster seats, safe apparel and travel, and common car seat myths and mistakes parents make. A certified child passenger safety technician will be on hand to answer questions.

CAA Earth Day Community Cleanup

In celebration of Earth Day, CAA Manitoba works together with local CAA School Safety Patrols to clean up the community.

CarFit – Winnipeg
Sunday, May 6
Location: 501 St. Anne's Rd.

Help ensure you’re comfortable and safe behind the wheel – make an appointment to have trained CarFit technicians and occupational therapists go through the CarFit checklist with you and make recommendations. This is one of our most popular events.

TADD Conference
Friday, May 11

Hosted by Manitoba School Boards Association, the TADD conference brings high school students from across the province together at the University of Manitoba to engage with road safety experts on issues like distracted driving, drug and alcohol impaired driving, and more. CAA Manitoba will present at the conference.

Winnipeg School Patrol Awards

An annual assembly brings the best CAA School Safety Patrol teams in Winnipeg together to celebrate their achievement and commitment to helping keep our community safe. CAA Manitoba, the Winnipeg Police Service and Manitoba Public Insurance are chief sponsors.

Riverview Cycle on Life
Sunday, June 3

Join us at Riverview Health Centre’s 20th annual Cycle on Life bike event. CAA Manitoba provides cold beverages and snacks for riders, as well as basic bike maintenance and Bike Assist to whoever needs it.


CAA Insurance Shred Day – Winnipeg
Saturday, June 16

Protect yourself against identity theft – set an appointment to have your documents shredded by our partner at our St. Anne’s store.

Bike to Work Day
Monday, June 18

Stop by the two CAA Manitoba pit stops on Bike to Work Day in Winnipeg and enjoy free refreshments, snacks and safety gear. All Bike to Work Day participants are entitled to Bike Assist for free in Winnipeg.


Ciclovia
Sunday, June 24

Formerly part of ManyFest in September but now part of Bike Week, Ciclovia celebrates cycling in Winnipeg. CAA Manitoba will be on hand at the party at The Forks to talk about sharing the road, hand out bike gear, and provide free refreshments to cyclists and Ciclovia goers.


Brandon School Patrol Awards

CAA Manitoba awards the top three CAA School Safety Patrol teams in Brandon with plaques for their hard work and dedication to road safety in the community. Manitoba Public Insurance sponsors the Best Captain Award which goes to a patrol captain who illustrates exceptional leadership on his team.

Red River Co-Op Speedway

For one night only, CAA members can receive discount tickets for a race at Red River Co-Op Speedway.

Back to School Safety Assessment

Teams gather at three schools across the city to observe risky driving behaviours in school zones.

October

CarFit – Winnipeg

Make an appointment to have a trained CarFit technician and occupational therapist recommend modifications to keep you driving safely.


Ladies Night at the Garage

A fun event served up with mocktails, you’ll leaved empowered with knowledge about how to take care of your car. We cover issues like changing your oil, changing a tire, and knowing your rights if you need repairs. This is one of our most popular events.
