The team at CAA Manitoba has worked hard at developing a plan to bring services back in a manner that is safe for you and our Associates.
As a result of this hard work, we are pleased to announce that CAA Stores in Winnipeg and Brandon will reopen for business on Monday, May 11.
At CAA, our highest priority is the health and safety of our Members, customers, Associates and the extended community. In order for us to ensure that we adhere to the guidelines outlined by the provincial government, things will look different when you come back to our stores. Some of these changes include reducing our store hours to allow more time for cleaning and disinfecting our stores, limiting the number of Members and customers in store at any time in order to meet social distancing guidelines, and providing hand sanitizing stations for you to use while visiting our stores. We also encourage those Members and customers who wish to speak with a travel consultant or insurance broker to make an appointment by calling us at 204-262-6000 or 1-800-237-4357 prior to coming to a store. Please review our new Store Hours and Store Visit Guidelines so you are aware of these changes and to help you prepare for your next trip to a CAA store.

Manitobans have been committed to following public health recommendations to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and because of this, it was announced this week that various non-essential businesses will be permitted to begin reopening next week. We are excited at the prospect of seeing you all again soon!
The team at CAA Manitoba is working hard at developing a plan to bring services back in a manner that is safe for you and our Associates.
Things will look different when you come back to our stores and we are working hard at these details, including ensuring we have sufficient supply of personal protective equipment and that we adhere to the guidelines outlined by the government in a manner that allows proper social distancing.
This will take us extra time before we can open our doors for you. Our stores will continue to remain closed while we ready them for your safe return.
Once we have a confirmed reopen date for our retail locations, we will contact all emailable members to let you know. Updates will also be shared on caamanitoba.com and social media channels as they become available. We encourage you to check online for the most recent information.

A Responsibility to do something good.

A lot has happened over the past two weeks.
When the COVID-19 pandemic started to have significant impacts on the community, we acted quickly to proactively work with Members and customers to help them navigate travel plans and travel insurance coverage.
We temporarily closed all CAA Manitoba stores and asked all CAA Associates to work from home. We also made the hard decision to implement contact-free service throughout our roadside network in an effort to keep CAA Drivers and our Members safe.
We are doing our part to help contain this pandemic, but as a care-driven company, built on the values of making a difference in the community, to us, that isn’t enough.
This week, we quickly started looking at how else we can make a difference during this difficult time. We feel a responsibility to not just help our Members, but to do something good for the community.
I wanted to share a few things we are working on to help make a difference for people during this crisis.
Support for our healthcare workers and first responders. Those working on the front lines of this crisis have enough to worry about, and we want to make sure they are able to get to and from work safely. We are now offering them free roadside assistance from CAA Manitoba during this crisis.
If you work in a hospital or health care centre, or as a first responder for emergency services, you can request CAA Roadside Service by calling *222 on your mobile device or toll free at 1-800-222-4357.
This free service is currently being offered to Members and non-Members alike. If you are a Member and a healthcare worker or first responder, these calls will not be counted on your Membership.
- Delivery of vital food and supplies. CAA has actively reached out to see how we can be of service to those delivering front-line care. We have connected with several large organizations in need, such as food banks, Meals on Wheels, pharmacies, and other community service groups. When we’ve got extra capacity amongst our fleet of vehicles and drivers, we are working with these organizations to assist with delivering vital supplies where they’re most urgently needed.
Our Associates are always looking for ways to make people’s days better and to keep them safe. We will continue to explore opportunities to help ease the burden of this crisis on our Members and the community at large.
We encourage our incredible Member community to continue to do what’s necessary as we all face this crisis together. Stay safe, practice social distancing to keep yourselves and our communities safe, and to reach out to vulnerable community members to help them feel less alone. We are in this together!
