Manitobans helping Manitobans during the pandemic and beyond.

At CAA, our highest priority is—and will always be—the health and safety of our Members, customers, associates and the extended community.

The past several months have been challenging for our province, our country and the world at large. We are by no means finished with COVID-19, but Manitoba is slowly emerging from its grip—and we will be stronger because of it.

We have experienced a lot of change in a limited amount of time, and I’m extremely proud of how CAA has come together as an organization to navigate the pandemic. We immediately shifted our business priorities to give back to the community, helping those who needed it most.

Throughout the pandemic, we continued to show our care and commitment during these unprecedented times. CAA offered free roadside assistance to frontline healthcare workers and first responders. We also launched Operation Outreach, a social wellness program in which our Associates checked in on more than 13,000 Manitoba seniors over the age of 75. Our fleet and contractor network of trucks also delivered vital supplies where they were urgently needed.

Our amazing fleet of tow truck drivers and all of our support staff also came together to plan and organize a special procession for healthcare workers and first responders. Seventy tow trucks from CAA Manitoba and other providers took part in a procession to give thanks and show support for those working at Health Sciences Centre, Grace Hospital and Fire Station 1 in Winnipeg.

For those visiting our retail locations, we are going above and beyond to provide you with a safe environment. Some safety protocols include reducing store hours to allow more time for cleaning and disinfecting; limiting the number of Members and customers in store to meet physical distancing guidelines; and installing hand sanitizing stations for those entering and exiting our stores.

Due to the nature of this virus, we know things could change yet again. With that in mind, please know we are committed to keeping you safe and servicing your needs as reliably as possible.

Stay safe and healthy!
