CAA is always looking for ways to add value to Members and the community

Everything we do at CAA Manitoba is centered around the health and safety of our Members, Associates and the community. That’s why I am thrilled to share some important updates.

Earlier this year we announced a charitable partnership with the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, amounting to a $225,000 donation to be distributed over the next three years.

This contribution will help build an Indigenous Community Healing Space for the Indigenous children who account for half of the kids at HSC Winnipeg Children’s Hospital. The project is being led by Dr. Melanie Morris, Canada’s first and only Indigenous pediatric surgeon, who was appointed as the first lead of Indigenous Health at HSC Children’s in 2019. Consultation with Elders, community organizations and families are further guiding culturally sensitive plans for this space.

We also continue to support our existing charitable partners including Bear Clan Patrol, Harvest Manitoba and the Winnipeg Humane Society.

Times are tough on all our wallets, and CAA Manitoba has maintained the lowest membership rates in Canada for years. At affordable rates, Members can take advantage of roadside services and save with our Rewards and eStore partners. So with great pleasure we announce two new benefits that will be of value to CAA Manitoba Members. Members now save three cents per litre on all fuel grades and 10 percent on car washes and in-store purchases at participating Shell locations across Canada (excluding Québec). Discounts are offered at the pump, in-store and on the Shell EasyPay App.

Your membership now includes services from our new partner, Maple, Canada’s leading virtual healthcare platform. CAA Members and their household can instantly connect with a nurse practitioner from any device to receive treatment for many common medical conditions. Visit caamanitoba.com/maple to learn more about this wonderful new benefit.

We will continue to find ways to help our Members. From contributing to your communities to introducing new Member benefits, our goal is to ensure you’re safe, you save and that you can focus on taking care of yourself and your loved ones.

Stay safe and healthy.
