Manitobans are reporting more extreme driving behaviours on our roads since the onset of the COVID pandemic. Both MPI and the RCMP have asked Manitobans to slow down. And CAA is now asking the government to go a step further by imposing immediate roadside penalties for street racing and stunt driving.

CAA is calling for immediate roadside licence suspension (7 days), vehicle impoundment (7 days) and a substantial increase in fines for people speeding 50 km/h or more over the posted limit or stunting on public roads.
