Be prepared.

When requesting service, you will be asked to provide the following:

  • Your membership number
  • Location and description of the disabled vehicle
  • Type of problem requiring assistance (example, won’t start, stuck, flat tire)
  • Phone number where you can be reached 10 minutes before service arrives
  • Tow destination if required
Please note: In order to receive service, you must be at or near your vehicle when the roadside service provider arrives and they will need to see your photo ID.

You may have the vehicle towed to a service facility, or to any location of your choice within 10 km from the point of breakdown at no charge. A charge per km will be applied by the service provider to any additional mileage over 10 km.

You may have the vehicle towed to a service facility, or to any location of your choice within 200 km from the point of breakdown at no charge. One of your five eligible calls may extend to 320 km for motorized vehicles. A charge per km will be applied by the service provider to any additional mileage over 200 km after the 320 km tow has been used in a membership year.

In the event of a tow, Premier Members receive a two-day complimentary midsize car rental (one per year with a qualified tow**). Just call CAA within 48 hours from the time of tow and we'll arrange a rental car for your use. Service must be arranged by CAA and provided by CAA's preferred rental car partner.

Reimbursement policy.

If you have contacted our Emergency Road Service and assistance is not available, you may obtain your own service, pay for it and submit the receipt to your Club.
